Notes: Produced at the end of the 60s by the famous dial maker company “Singer,” this dial variant appears to have been born of their legendary 1967/1968 catalogue, also featuring other dials that would go on to set records such as early versions of the Paul Newman Daytona Dials. Within that same catalogue there were also Datejust dials; this Singer block marker dial appears to be one of the designs within the catalogue that ended up being produced in small numbers. You can only find a couple examples online and even fewer non-lume versions . The watch has a prototype feel, its large chunky markers creating a unique look on this reference 1601. A piece of Rolex history.
